The website serves as a platform for the scientific community to voice their opinions on topics related to Medical Care, such as current healthcare delivery and health policy issues, and to engage in meaningful discourse.

We welcome submissions related to current or ongoing healthcare delivery and public health topics, not just articles published in Medical Care. These can include reactions to recent developments in the world of health policy, interviews with practitioners and researchers, as well as thought pieces from health services researchers, clinicians, public health practitioners, policymakers and analysts.

If you are interested in becoming a contributor, please reach out to the editors with a pitch. Make sure to include a brief biography, your goals for contributing (what do you hope to gain and what can you offer?), and a summary of your post.

In order to ensure effective communication with your doctor, it is essential to ask questions. Do not assume that you know the answers or that the doctor will bring up a particular topic; they may not be aware of its importance to you. Be assertive and ask questions if there is something you don't understand, such as medical terminology like aneurysm, hypertension, or infarct. Additionally, if instructions are unclear (e.g., does taking medicine with food mean before, during or after a meal?), do not hesitate to inquire for clarification.
